Drug Demand Reduction Program

We provide support to state and local Community Based Organizations, Law Enforcement Agencies,  Educational Institutions, and Coalitions to educate our youth, parents, guardsmen, and the population of West Virginia as to the direct and residual effects of drug abuse  in our schools, homes, and workplaces.

We want to show young people that they can get “High on Life”, without using drugs. They can develop strong minds and bodies by participating in activities throughout the community with the help of the West Virginia National Guard. We want to let our youth know that if they get into drugs for recreation, that they will encounter legal, physical, and mental problems that could follow them for the rest of their lives.
